Abilities


Passive/Innate Ability #1:
Strength: The user’s blade is lit by a flame that is unable to be put out. These flames act as a main attack and can fend off incoming hand to hand attacks The blade alone can only act on its users will, meaning that the user has full control over the flames clinging to his weapon. He can reshape them into virtually any weapon of desire, though the flames cannot shrink the size of the sword The user can only alter the size of the flames that envelop his blade, not the blade itself.
The user can make any weapon of desire as long as it sticks within the boundaries of the Nodachi’s size (making that the minimal size). The user can greatly increase the size of the blade up to 4 feet making it a prime weapon for close and long distance. Not only does it make it a bigger blade, it also adds the boost of fire damage: the user now posses the ability to alter the flames that surround his weapon.
Weakness:
Each time the blade forms a new object a chunk of 5% reiatsu is required, and each form and can only be maintained for 4 posts

Active Ability #1:
Name:
Gōka Mekkyaku (Great Fire Annihilation)
Strength:
The user channels his reiatsu through the blade and upon slashing at a target, or anything for that matter, the user is than able to create a massive wall of intense flames, which covers an expansive range. Due to the sheer amount of fire that is produced on a single slash makes the technique extremely difficult to contain. The height of the flames can be as large as 12 feet and the width is enough to hide the presence of the one behind or on the other side (10 feet). The length of the attack is quite lengthy, it is able to cover the air, or ground in 10 feet on either side from the point of slash making the walls 20 feet in length.

The user is able to cast out the flames as an attack or defense, these flames have the ability to set flammable materials a blaze and quickly, and with the width and arc it can easily hide the existence of the user, making it versatile for any situation. Due to the massive size of the attack, the flames are difficult to be put out by water methods. Thus it relies on its die down period
Weakness:
Due to fire being one of the hardest elements to control it can easily light anything behind or in front of it ablaze making it a double edge sword. The walls themselves can only last for brief moments 2 posts before dispersing and requires a use of 30% reiatsu for each use.

Gōka Messhitsu (Great Fire Destruction)
Strength:
A technique where the user channels reiatsu through the length of the blade, then expells it from the tip of the blade in a massive stream of intense flames that can set a vast area ablaze, engulfing the the area in a veritable sea of flames. Since the technique is a spray type move it is best used at a close range thus decreasing the chance of miss. Though alone the flames width is great (12 feet) and its range is vast, reaching out 20 feet from the tip of the blade.

The user is able to cast out the flames mainly as an attack, these flames have the ability to set flammable materials a blaze and quickly, and with the width and length it can easily incinerate anything in its path. Due to the massive size of the attack, the flames are difficult to be put out by water methods, thus it relies on its die down period.
Weakness:
This move is greatly different than its counterpart, only igniting what's in front of it on fire. Therefore it does not have the double edge effect. The stream of flame can be cancelled out at any time, though the flames themselves only last for brief moments 2 posts before dispersing and requires a use of 30% reiatsu for each use.

The blade appears as a normal katana, though steam rolls off the blade;
and when any source of light touches the blade it glows blue, showing the
flames that once where. Size is roughly 3 feet 7 inches.

Abilities


Passive/Innate Ability #1
Strength:
The user is able to generate an intense amount of heat into the tip and down the blade of his weapon. Upon a single slash the user is able to scorch what ever it touches. The blade generates enough heat to cause fourth degree burns wherever it strikes. These burns are capable of reaching muscle. Can be used at will.
Weakness: Each slash, when the move is used, requires 5% reiatsu for each swing.

Passive/Innate Ability #2
Strength:
The user envelops their entire body in a coating of lava that enhances the damage of their physical attacks. Due to the extreme heat generated by the lava, the user is capable of burning the target without coming into direct contact with them (radius of 3 feet for minimal burn damage). In addition to the offensive damage the armour can inflict, it can also be used for defensive purposes, as it acts as a deterrent towards those who wish to attack the user physically. Cam be used at will.
Weakness: The armour, when activated, slows the users speed down to the second highest value. Not only that but it wears the users stamina. It consumes 2% reiatsu for each post it is maintained.

Active Ability #1:
Name: Kakazan
Strength:
The user takes his weapon and stabs it into the ground with great force; so much that it is capable of causing the earth around the blade to crack. From this, the hole around the blade begins to glow, shortly after an enormous torrent of lava violently erupts from the ground, rushing upwards towards the target. The amount of lava formed is so great that it is said to come up at least 20 feet from the ground and cover 35 feet of the ground in circumference.
Weakness:
The move is a double edge sword, due to the large expanse it covers it is possible that it can cover up the user as well, which is why it is advised to use the move while covered in lava. The lava itself will never dissipate, even after sealing bankai and shikai. The move takes up 35% reiatsu for each use.


Fun Fact:
-Over the course of four hundred years, Ven's zanpaktou has changed. The heat with in theblade has now become so hot that it has become molten magma...better know as lava. Thus he is able to use lava rather than the flames in his sword. He has come to realize that the sun goddess, Amaterasu, has no set for, when it comes to heat; through growth Ven hopes to achieve the strongest fire based zanpaktou.

-Kakazan, when translated means: Flower–Fruit Mountain. The reason it is named this is unknown. Though it is stipulated that it is based off the birth place of Sūn Wùkōng, the main character of the Chinese novel Journey to the West.

-Even after ending bankai or shikai the flames and lava will not leave the area until an unknown force/factor acts otherwise.
